Tyris Lebeau brings steady, veteran linebacker production to UMass
In the 2019 season, Tyris Lebeau posted 48 tackles, including 23 solo stops, 1 sack, and 1 interception for Massachusetts, showing the kind of reliable, assignment-sound linebacker play coaches love. At 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, the Montreal native gives UMass a disciplined, physical presence in the middle, and his long college track record suggests a high football IQ and steady awareness rather than flash-and-dash highlight hunting. He looks like a fit for a team that wants a dependable communicator and tackler who can anchor the defense without needing the spotlight.
