High-Strikeout RHP with Elite Save Record and Upset-Win Pedigree at GW
Luke LeMond is a 6'2" right-handed pitcher for George Washington who differentiates himself with elite closing instincts and a high strikeout rate, tallying 28 SO in 24.2 IP during the 2025 season despite a 5.84 ERA [1]. His true differentiator is his reliability under pressure: as a junior in 2024, he recorded a team-high four saves and earned a win in an upset victory over No. 24 Kansas State, proving he can handle elite opponents [3]. LeMond is a low-maintenance, high-intensity reliever who allowed zero baserunners in three of his final seven outings in 2025, showcasing late-season command [3]. While his ERA fluctuates, his 1.15 SO/IP ratio and proven ability to close games make him a perfect fit for a team needing a dependable late-inning arm who thrives in big moments.
