veteran ball-hawk safety with proven production
Brent Jackson has shown the kind of defensive reliability teams love in a safety: at Bucknell in 2022, he started all 11 games, led the team with 111 tackles, and ranked among the FCS leaders in solo tackles per game, which points to strong range, urgency, and consistent involvement around the ball. That production suggests a high-motor, physical defender who can help erase mistakes and bring toughness to the back end. If Oklahoma is evaluating him for depth and special-teams value, his resume says he fits a team that wants dependable tackling and immediate effort.
