Jamar Wall is a Texas Tech defensive back turned pro, but not a current Red Raider
Jamar Wall is best known as a former Texas Tech DB, not a current 2026 roster player, and his profile screams proven ball skills: he finished his college career with 186 tackles, 9 interceptions, and 34 passes defended, then went on to a long pro run after being drafted in 2010. In other words, if you want a safety/DB who brings pedigree, instincts, and a track record of production, Wall was that kind of defender—but he is not a current fit for Texas Tech in 2026 because he’s long past his college playing days.
