Jay Barry brings size and veteran depth to Northern Colorado’s WR room
Barry is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound senior/graduate transfer with experience at FIU and Northern Colorado, giving UNC a seasoned depth option rather than a volume producer; in 2024 he logged 4 catches for 11 yards and in 2025 he played in five games without recording stats, so the appeal is more about reliability, matchup size, and a proven football pedigree than box-score production. He also brings high-school two-way athleticism and bloodlines from a football family, which can matter in a locker room even if the target share has been modest.
