niche-but-useful fullback who brings old-school power and goal-line punch
Trey Hopson is a classic downhill fullback for Nicholls, with a power profile that showed up in 2008-09 when he scored key short-yardage touchdowns and logged 90 rushing yards on 13 carries in a 2008 win over Southeastern Louisiana, plus a 3-yard score against Duquesne in 2009.[7][14][15] His value is less about volume and more about leverage: lead blocking, physicality, and being dependable in tight spaces where a team needs a hammer, not a scalpel.[6][13]
