Archie Smith brings versatility and motor to Alabama State’s linebacker room
Archie Smith stands out for being the kind of linebacker coaches love: physical, active, and willing to do the dirty work in the middle. Publicly available 2026 roster/search results do not surface a clean stat line for him, so the better read is role-based—he looks like a player whose value comes from effort, toughness, and steadiness rather than flash. If your team wants a downhill defender who can fit gaps, chase in space, and set a tone with energy, he’s the type to keep on the radar.
