Brandon Venson offers Illinois State a physical, versatile tight end with proven receiving ability
Venson profiles as a sturdy, NFL-sized TE at 6'3" and 245 pounds who brings route reliability and functional strength rather than flashy athleticism; his listed measurables include a 4.79 40-yard dash and a 225-pound bench, and he once produced 10 catches for 148 yards and a touchdown, showing he can contribute as a chain-mover and red-zone option. The main question is upside and current availability, because public listings now show him as a free agent with no recent statistical output, so he fits best for a team needing a dependable, workmanlike tight end rather than a high-ceiling mismatch weapon.
