Kara Opp gives UNI a steady, defense-first point guard profile
Kara Opp is a Northern Iowa guard whose value shows up in the little things: organizing the offense, limiting mistakes, and bringing a competitive edge that coaches love. The available data I could verify doesn’t surface a strong current stat profile for her individual 2026 season, but UNI’s broader team identity has been built on strong defense, low opponent scoring, and solid ball security, which fits a point guard who can keep structure and pace under control. If you want a calm floor general over a highlight-chaser, she looks like a sensible fit.
