veteran EIU linebacker with a nose for the ball
Lucius Seymour has been a productive, high-motor linebacker for Eastern Illinois, with ESPN listing him as a Panthers linebacker and historical game logs showing he piled up 11 tackles and 2 tackles for loss in the 2005 season against Indiana State. He stands out for downhill toughness, pursuit speed, and a reputation as an impact defender who shows up around the ball, plus he’s been recognized in the past with All-America honorable mention/3rd-team type notice. If you want an instinctive, physical LB who plays with edge and doesn’t just fill a roster spot, he’s the kind of fit that makes coordinators grin.
