Sacramento State's Tackling Machine and Ironman LB
Brock Mather, Sacramento State Hornets linebacker, dominated the 2023 season with 68 tackles (3rd on team), including 34 solos, 5.5 TFLs, and 1.5 sacks across all 13 games—starting 12—showcasing elite durability with 2+ tackles every outing and 5+ in 10. His career-high 13-tackle explosion vs. Montana highlights relentless intensity and big-game poise, backed by JUCO roots (73 tackles, 12 TFLs). A consistent run-stuffer with fumble-forcing upside, Mather's workhorse reliability makes him a plug-and-play fit for teams craving blue-collar defensive anchors—no injury red flags, just proven grind.
