Xavier Peters brings Power-5 pedigree and edge-sized range to FAU’s linebacker room
Peters is a former consensus four-star recruit who was ranked among the top 15 outside linebackers nationally in high school, and that pedigree still matters when evaluating his upside at FAU. At 6'4" and 255 pounds, he has the size and length to play on the edge, while his path from Florida State to Kentucky to Florida Atlantic suggests he has seen high-level football and brings adaptability. The biggest fit question is consistency and health, but if FAU wants a long, physical linebacker with pass-rush ability and SEC/ACC experience, Peters is a smart upside add.
