Alcorn State's Compact Speed Demon in the Secondary
Jacques Caldwell, a 5-9, 190-pound senior DB for the Alcorn State Braves, brings elite high school track speed (4.27 40-yard dash, state 7th in 200m relays) and versatile athleticism from his Garland, TX roots and Louisville stint, where he appeared in 12 games as a CB/WR in 2009. His compact frame fuels explosive closing speed and ball skills, making him a lockdown slot defender with return potential—ideal for teams needing intense, undersized playmakers who thrive in man coverage and special teams.
