Cal QB Richard Schwartz: high-upside prospect with proven arm talent
Schwartz entered Cal as a **4-star-caliber quarterback recruit** with **size, production, and upside**: he was listed at 6-4, 205, completed 115 of 200 passes for 1,960 yards and 19 touchdowns as a senior, and was ranked the No. 37 prospect in California by SuperPrep and a top-10 West Region QB by PrepStar.[2] The main reason to care is his profile as a **big-bodied passer with legitimate downfield juice and efficiency**, plus the kind of recruiting pedigree that suggests he can fit an offense that values structure and developmental ceiling.[2]
