Brandon Payne brings proven ball production and veteran cornerback savvy
In the latest available New Mexico profile, Brandon Payne stands out as a ball-hawking corner whose calling card is playmaking: his 2004 Lobo season featured 6 interceptions and 17 passes broken up, both elite production markers for a defensive back. That résumé signals a defender who reads routes quickly, competes at the catch point, and can swing a game with one snap. For a team looking for a corner with proven instincts, physicality, and high-impact upside, Payne fits the profile of a difference-maker.
