Jenny Thigpin brings veteran coaching chops and defensive-minded structure to the Bulldogs
Jenny Thigpin is not a current Fresno State player, but a former Bulldogs post player turned coach whose value comes from experience, toughness, and teaching. In her Fresno State playing days, she was a reliable frontcourt contributor, including averaging 3.9 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in the 2003-04 season while shooting a team-best 56% from the field. Since then, she’s built a résumé as a head coach and assistant, including leading Cal State East Bay after being hired in June 2022. If you want a steady, culture-building big with strong basketball IQ, she fits the bill—just not as an active roster addition.
