Robert “Shaq” Crouch brings veteran size and interior grit to S.C. State’s defensive line
Robert “Shaq” Crouch is a long, experienced South Carolina State defensive lineman whose profile suggests a classic trench-tone setter: size, edge, and veteran know-how. Public roster data shows him listed at 6'4" and 420 pounds for South Carolina State’s 2019 roster, which signals a run-stuffing presence built to clog gaps and eat blocks[1]. His value is less about flashy counting stats and more about leverage, physicality, and the kind of inside disruption that can make teammates cleaner. If your team wants an old-school, hard-nosed DL who can anchor the front, he’s the sort of body that gets coaches nodding.
