T.J. Stevenson brings blue-chip edge upside to Norfolk State's defensive front
Stevenson arrived at Norfolk State as a **three-star recruit** ranked by ESPN as the **No. 49 defensive end nationally** and **No. 11 player in Virginia**, and his high-school résumé shows real disruption ability with **4.5 sacks** on MaxPreps. He also carried leadership value as a **team captain** on a **12-2 senior team**, which matters for fit beyond raw traits. For a program looking for a motor-driven DL who can grow into a front-line playmaker, he checks the right boxes: upside, edge production, and a captain’s mindset.
