veteran NIU forward with a deep-resume, low-usage role
Brandon Hayes is a Northern Illinois forward whose profile reads more like an experienced depth piece than a headline scorer: NIU’s roster entry lists him at 6-4, and his college record shows limited game action with only 11 appearances and his first points coming on free throws as a Huskie. In the 2024-25 depth-chart data, he was listed with minimal minutes, suggesting his value is more about readiness, physicality, and system knowledge than box-score production. If your team needs toughness and a low-ego glue guy, that’s the fit; if you need immediate offensive punch, he’s not that guy.
