Massive JUCO-to-D2 Beast with Proven Run-Stopping Power
Darius Smalls, a towering 6-5, 340-pound DT from Jacksonville, FL, brings FCS grit and D2 dominance after starring at Mississippi Valley State (2016) and posting 20 tackles, 2 TFLs, and 1.5 sacks in Valdosta State's 2019 playoff run to the D2 title game. His JUCO highlights at Hinds CC and Copiah-Lincoln showcase explosive bull-rush strength and relentless motor, making him a differentiator against the run in smaller conferences. Ideal fit for teams needing interior beef with lower-division polish—no major injury flags, just raw power and hustle.
