Maine LB Fred McAlpin: Developmental Prospect with Limited Playing Time
Fred McAlpin is a linebacker for the University of Maine Black Bears who has seen minimal action through the 2021 season, appearing in just a handful of games since 2018. While the search results don't reveal extensive statistical production or standout performance metrics, McAlpin represents a developmental prospect still working to establish himself at the FCS level. His journey from high school (Vineland/Hudson Valley CC) to Maine suggests persistence, though his limited playing time indicates he's competing for opportunities rather than commanding the defense. Best suited for programs seeking depth at linebacker or a project player with room to grow.
