Harvard’s Record-Setting Workhorse at Running Back
Dawson is best known as a high-volume, high-production Harvard RB who set school single-season marks for rushing yards, rushing TDs, total TDs, and points, and in 2004 he was an All-American while scoring 10.8 points per game and topping 100 rushing yards in seven of ten games. His value is his blend of durability, consistency, and scoring punch—traits that signal a back who can carry an offense and finish drives. He was also efficient enough to earn NFL interest as an undrafted free agent, which supports the idea that his game translated beyond college.
