Virginia Tech LB with Special Teams Grit and Untapped Defensive Upside
Chase Williams, a Virginia Tech inside linebacker, debuted with a tackle in his first collegiate action against Appalachian State while logging 13 defensive snaps and a whopping 171 on special teams, showcasing his high-motor reliability and team-first intensity. His differentiator is that special teams workload—rare for a LB prospect—highlighting coachability and endurance that make him a plug-and-play fit for any squad needing depth and hustle; with limited defensive stats so far, he's a developmental gem for teams valuing versatile, low-ego warriors over flash.
