A.J. Davison brings veteran mauling and nasty edge to ODU’s interior
A.J. Davison is a veteran Old Dominion guard whose best calling card is stability: he’s been a multi-year starter on the Monarchs’ interior and, in the 2018 season, was already trusted at right guard in games where ODU leaned on physical run blocking. At 6-foot-6 and 326 pounds, he has the size to anchor against power fronts, and the consistent starting history suggests a player coaches trust in the trenches. If you want an experienced, road-grading interior lineman with real snap count credibility, he’s worth caring about.
