Ryan Welage brings size, shooting touch, and proven scoring to Xavier
Ryan Welage is a 6-10 forward whose best calling card is floor spacing: at Xavier in the 2018-19 season, he averaged 11.9 points and 4.2 rebounds while shooting 43.7% from the field, and his résumé includes a 19-point outing against St. John’s plus a school-record scoring season earlier in his career. He fits best as a skilled stretch forward who can punish mismatches, rebound his area, and provide veteran scoring feel rather than pure rim protection or explosive athleticism.[1][2][6]
