Christian Mejia brings proven, multi-year production to Washington State’s defensive front
Christian Mejia is a seasoned Washington State defensive lineman whose value comes from steady run-support work, backfield disruption and game experience rather than flash: he finished his Cougar career with 52 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks across 28 games, while also logging an interception, which hints at awareness and playmaking beyond the typical interior body. Listed around 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds in recruiting profiles, he has been more of a strong-side edge/line hybrid than a pure space-eater, so a team would view him as a disciplined, versatile front-seven piece who can fit in multiple packages.[5][6][2]
