Corey Allmond gives Sam Houston a proven scoring guard with week-to-week momentum
Allmond was listed by Sam Houston as a 6-foot-1 senior guard from Oxon Hill, Maryland, and he earned Southland Player of the Week honors after a record-setting outing followed by another 11 points against Cleveland State, showing he can carry real offensive load when the game speeds up.[1][2] ESPN’s season line shows him producing 15.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 43.7% from the field, which points to a balanced backcourt scorer rather than a one-dimensional gunner.[3]
