Steady SIU Saluki Guard with Untapped Potential
Debbie Burris, a junior guard for the Southern Illinois Salukis women's basketball team, brings reliable scoring and defensive hustle from her Allen County CC roots, standing at 5-10 with a gritty, team-first intensity that shines in high-pressure moments. While specific 2026 stats are sparse, her Parsons, Kan., background suggests a blue-collar differentiator—perfect for programs needing versatile perimeter players who elevate teammates without ego. No major injury flags; she's a low-risk, high-effort fit for mid-major squads building depth.
