Dan Pitts has the ODU QB job and a live-arm upside that keeps him firmly in the mix
Dan Pitts is positioned as Old Dominion’s quarterback to watch in 2026, with the Monarchs’ depth chart and game notes showing him in the QB conversation and starter discussion. His appeal is the classic modern-QB combo: size, toughness, and enough passing pop to challenge defenses vertically, even if the sample is still limited and the production sample is not yet loud enough to crown him a finished product. If your team wants a developmental passer with starter traits and room to grow, Pitts is intriguing; if you need a proven, polished veteran today, he still has something to prove.
