Michael Purcell is a steady, high-floor interior defender with proven production for Tulane
Purcell gives Tulane a dependable DL presence with real production: ESPN lists him with 39 solo tackles and 2 sacks, while Tulane’s roster notes a season with 28 tackles and a career-best seven tackles in a game, showing he can hold up against the run and show up in key moments[2][3]. He profiles as a physical, assignment-sound interior defender rather than a flashy stat-chaser, which makes him a useful fit for teams that value toughness, leverage, and consistency on early downs[2][3].
