Steady-Armed QB Delivering Wins for Northwestern State Demons
J.T. Fayard, Northwestern State's reliable QB, showcased his poise under pressure with 23-of-34 passing for two TDs in a gritty 2025 road loss to Wofford (31-14), proving his accuracy and decision-making shine even in defeat. His differentiator? Cool-headed leadership that elevates a scrappy Demons squad—think clutch performer with FCS grit, no flashy stats but consistent chains-moving throws. No injury red flags, high football IQ, and that understated intensity make him a perfect fit for teams needing a smart, low-turnover starter to stabilize the huddle. Why care? He's the glue guy building toward a breakout.
