experienced, captain-level offensive lineman with proven FCS polish
Brandon Malkow brings real trench credibility: he was a Western Illinois team captain, started every game at center in 2021, and helped fuel a 3,994-yard Western Illinois passing offense in his earlier FCS years. He also has a strong academic profile and the kind of experience coaches love in an OL room—steady, versatile, and battle-tested rather than flashy. If you want an older lineman who understands protections, leadership, and consistency, he’s the type who quietly makes a roster better.
