Torri James is a high-efficiency, high-motor forward with two-way upside for WKU
In the 2024-25 season, Torri James was a productive role forward for Western Kentucky, averaging 8.1 points and 5.4 rebounds in 26.5 minutes while shooting 54.6% from the field, and she later delivered a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double to show she can scale up when given touches.[1][14][15] Her biggest differentiators are energy, rebounding, and a versatile all-around background—she arrived with a high-school resume built on scoring, shot blocking, volleyball, and track—and WKU also listed her on the Academic Honor Roll, which speaks to reliability and fit.[9][16]
