Elon’s Intense LB with Coastal Carolina Proven All-Purpose Grit
Cameron Wright, now a linebacker for Elon Phoenix, brings a rare blend of **all-purpose versatility** and **high-intensity tackling** proven in his 2025 season at Coastal Carolina, where he logged **274 all-purpose yards** across 24 games with a **11.4-yard average** per play [1]. His differentiator isn’t just stats—it’s his **relentless pursuit**, **film-studying discipline**, and **injury-free durability** that made him a free-agent signee for Edmonton in hockey (showing cross-sport adaptability) [2]. While his primary sport is football, his **cross-training background** suggests elite **agility** and **reaction time**. For teams seeking a **hard-hitting, smart LB** who elevates coverage and run defense without missing games, Wright is a **high-fit, low-risk prospect** with FCS-ready intensity.
