Nyk Lewis is giving VCU a tough, do-everything backcourt jolt
In the 2025-26 season, VCU freshman guard Nyk Lewis emerged as an immediate impact player, earning multiple Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors while averaging around 8.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game; at 6-foot-1, he brings point-guard control, rebounding pop, and a willingness to attack early in possessions. He’s a strong fit for a team that values pace, physicality, and two-way guard production, though he is still developing consistency as a scorer and creator.
