Brie Wilcox is a rim-protecting, veteran forward with proven flashes of impact
Brie Wilcox, a 6-foot-2 forward for Detroit Mercy, has shown the kind of low-usage toughness coaches love: in the 2014-15 season she averaged 1.7 points and 1.4 rebounds while adding 7 blocks, 5 assists and 4 steals in 22 games, and she posted a career-high 12 points with 4 blocks in one game. Her value is less about volume and more about versatility, defense and energy—she can protect the paint, make hustle plays and give a team a reliable, physical presence off the bench. If you need a hard-nosed role player who does the dirty work, she fits the bill.
