Nahsir Taylor flashes as Maryland’s rising edge disruptor
In the 2025 season, Nahsir Taylor gave Maryland a promising first look at his upside, appearing in 11 games with one start and posting 19 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks. He stands out for his burst off the edge, disruptive motor, and ability to translate in-state recruiting hype into real production, which is why he was a priority addition over offers from Georgia, Penn State, and Notre Dame. The fit looks strong for a team needing a high-energy DL/edge piece who can grow into more snaps and impact plays.
