Louisiana’s safety room name to watch
Phillip Nevels is listed in Louisiana’s football records, but the publicly surfaced information available here does not show 2026 stat leaders, recent game production, or a verified current-depth-chart role at safety. That means the best read on him is as a roster-level evaluation rather than a stats-driven breakout: if Louisiana is keeping him in the mix, the appeal would be fit, coachability, and special-teams value more than flashy numbers. For a team shopping for a proven, clearly documented impact defender, there isn’t enough reliable 2026 evidence here to stamp him as a finished product yet.
