High-spin righty with a fast arm and strikeout upside
Carmona profiles as a live-arm **right-handed pitcher** with a simple, repeatable delivery, **electric arm speed**, and a fastball that sits **85–89 mph** with high spin and late riding life that can play above its velocity. His secondary mix includes a late-breaking curveball and a changeup thrown with fastball arm speed, giving him a starter’s ingredients or a high-leverage relief look if the command sharpens. The fit question is about strike-throwing and physical projection: he has room to add strength, but the raw stuff and ease of delivery are the selling points.
