Jake Whitehead brings proven pass-catching production and size to North Alabama’s offense
Whitehead is a 6-foot-1, 200-pound junior wide receiver who already showed real playmaking ability at the college level, including 20 catches for 312 yards and 3 touchdowns in 10 games as a freshman at Palomar in 2023. His profile points to a vertical, efficient receiver with strong yards-per-catch value and enough size to handle physical coverage, which makes him more than a volume target. Because available public stats for his current North Alabama role are limited, the best read is that he is a productive, experienced transfer-style addition whose value comes from reliable production, size, and upside rather than headline-grabbing numbers.[1][2]
