Rice’s Trey Macaluso III brings smart, developmental depth on the DL
Trey Macaluso III is a classic under-the-radar defensive lineman: Rice has described him as an intelligent player who can provide depth on the defensive line, and his profile points to a coachable, team-first contributor more than a stat-sheet stuffer. In his listed Rice bio, he was a redshirt junior at 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds, with no major production attached, which suggests his value is in reliability, football IQ, and developmental upside rather than flash. If your team wants a high-character, depth-building lineman with room to grow, he fits the mold.
