Texas State depth piece with developmental upside on the defensive line
Troy Ebensberger profiles as a developmental defensive lineman for Texas State rather than a proven stat-sheet stuffer, so the appeal is more about frame, coachability, and growth than headline production. Current public listings suggest he’s part of a deep Bobcats DL room, which usually means a player who has to earn snaps the hard way—through leverage, toughness, and consistency. If you want a high-floor plug-and-play star, this isn’t the flashy buy; if you want a gritty, system-fit interior body with room to grow, he’s worth a look.
