Experienced Butler DL with disruptive upside
Burdo was a sturdy, veteran Butler defensive lineman who produced 14 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks in the 2017 season, showing real backfield disruption rather than just gap-clogging bulk.[1] He also had a knack for impact special-teams moments, getting a hand on blocked kicks in 2016, which suggests effort, timing, and motor as differentiators.[2] At 6'1"-6'2" and 270-275 pounds across roster listings, he profiles as a compact, physical interior defender who could fit a team looking for toughness, leverage, and a reliable high-intensity presence up front.[4][5][6]
