Veteran Tarleton guard with leadership upside
Golden is a former Tarleton State team captain and academic all-conference guard whose value goes beyond the box score: he brings leadership, experience, and a steady presence in the backcourt. Tarleton’s roster and program notes show he was part of the Texans’ guard rotation and earned recognition for his work off the floor, which usually translates to reliability and coach trust. For a team, he looks like the kind of player who can stabilize a locker room, compete hard, and fit a structured system—more glue than glam, but often exactly what winning teams need.
