VMI DB Jaelen Adkins brings veteran defensive-back pedigree and special-teams value
Jaelen Adkins is a defensive back for VMI whose profile points to a versatile, hard-nosed secondary piece with proven all-around football instincts; in his early VMI bio, he was a high-school standout with 94 tackles, four interceptions, and two sacks in 2017, which hints at a physical playmaker rather than a pure coverage specialist[4]. His current public college stat page is limited, but his roster and career records show long-term continuity in the program, and that kind of experience usually matters for tackling reliability, communication, and no-nonsense depth in a secondary[1][3][8].
