Western Illinois DB David Conway is hard to evaluate from public stats alone
Publicly available 2025/2026 information on David Conway is limited, so there is no reliable stat-backed evidence here to label him as an impact defender or project a breakout profile. That said, any Western Illinois defensive back in an FCS rotation has to bring dependable coverage technique, tackling willingness, and special-teams value to earn snaps; Conway’s main selling point, based on the lack of contradictory reports, is that he appears to be a low-drama depth option rather than a headline-grabbing playmaker. If you need a proven ballhawk or a ranked DB prospect, the available data does not currently support that case.
