Justin Kucek brings veteran leg strength and big-game reliability to Minnesota
In the 2026 season, Justin Kucek is a senior punter for Minnesota, and his calling card is experience: he has handled the Gophers’ punting job for years, giving the staff a steady, field-position-focused weapon rather than a mystery box.[1][2] His differentiators are consistency, distance potential, and proven ability to pin teams deep—plus he has already shown he can deliver a 55-yard punt in a bowl setting.[2][8] If your team wants a calm, battle-tested specialist who can flip the field without drama, Kucek is the kind of dependable fit coaches love and opponents notice a little too late.[1][2]
