Mike Caprara brings veteran Pitt linebacker grit and proven disruption
In the 2026 season context, Mike Caprara is a redshirt senior linebacker for Pittsburgh, listed at 6-foot-0 and 225 pounds, with a track record of starting nine games at Money linebacker and producing nearly 90 career tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, and 7.5 sacks in his Pitt career[1][3]. His appeal is the old-school stuff coaches love: toughness, experience, downhill play, and real backfield disruption rather than empty volume[3]. If you want a mature, physical linebacker with proven production and no rookie wobble, he looks like a strong fit[1][3].
