Kansas State Guard with Proven HS Scoring Prowess, Limited College Impact
High school standout Devon Peterson, now with the Kansas State Wildcats, brings explosive scoring (18.1 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 2.0 apg in 29 games during 2025-26 at Warren HS) and top-86 national ranking in points, showcasing raw talent and intensity as a coachable, respectful guard per recruiting profiles. However, his 2010-11 college stats were modest (1.9 ppg, 0.6 rpg, 0.3 apg, 54.5% FG at KSU), suggesting developmental upside for teams needing a high-motor scorer off the bench rather than an immediate starter—watch for breakout potential if he adapts his HS dominance.
