Tulsa senior DE Jeph McAlester brings size, experience, and homegrown grit
Jeph McAlester is a 2026 senior defensive end at Tulsa, listed at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, giving the Golden Hurricane a long, lean edge presence with veteran continuity.[1] The strongest differentiator here is his frame plus program familiarity: he’s a local Tulsa product who fits the “development and buy-in” profile teams love in a rotational DE, especially if you value energy, coachability, and upside over flash. Publicly available roster info does not show current 2026 stat production, so the best read is that he’s a depth-and-upside defender whose value will come from effort, consistency, and growth.[1]
